Here in our first episode I’m giving the grand tour of Cluckingham Palace 🙂 Our not so humble abode for our feathered friends.
We’ve so enjoyed having chickens and they’ve really become our pets! It’s been a great addition to our diets to have fresh organic eggs every day. It’s also so satisfying lowering our food waste because we can share our organic food scraps with ‘the girls’ who LOVE our veggie leftovers and greens from the garden.
We live in Canada, so I built the coop to withstand the ups and downs of our Canadian climate. Shade provided for summer and insulated for winter. They also have a spacious run with lots of room to dig up worms and insects. More variety in their diets means more nutritious eggs for us. Let us know if you have any questions about Cluckingham Palace in the comments 🙂
