In today’s episode I’m replacing our old worn out fire pit with a new modern concrete one. Man, the new bricks were not light! Lol Probably better to have a buddy come over and lend a hand.
The cool thing is if you build these things right you can greatly eliminate smoke which makes it so much more enjoyable to sit around and the neighbours appreciate it too 🙂 I talk about how this works near the end of the video.
I plan to do a few upgrades here on our little homestead and add more options to cook outside like a small pizza oven and wood burning cook top. We’re all about making our place more “self-reliant” in any ways we can. Stay tuned for future episodes on that.
